From May 15–17, Istanbul hosted one of the world’s largest events in digital commerce – WORLDEF Istanbul 2025. With more than 30,000 participants, 310 exhibitors, and over 150 speakers from 40+ countries, the conference once again confirmed its position as a central meeting point for the global eCommerce community.
We are especially proud that the President of our Association, Orhan Gazibegović, participated as a panelist, presenting Bosnia and Herzegovina’s perspective in a discussion on simplifying e-commerce transactions and cross-border trade in the era of digital payments. Speaking on this topic before an international audience put a spotlight on the challenges and opportunities shaping our regional context, while emphasizing the importance of innovations in digital payments, fintech solutions, and the development of the eCommerce market.
WORLDEF Istanbul is a place where visionaries, leaders, and innovators come together to shape the future of digital commerce. That is why we are particularly proud that representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina had the opportunity to actively contribute to this dialogue and bring the voice of our community to the global stage.

For us, participation in WORLDEF is not just about being present on the big stage – it is also an opportunity to represent BiH in conversations with global leaders, exchange experiences, and open doors to new collaborations. The conference was equally valuable for our members – companies, organizations, and institutions from BiH who, thanks to our official partnership with WORLDEF, had the chance to attend the event with free passes.
