Nikola Mehandžić is Payoneer's Director for the Markets of Serbia and Southeast Europe in charge of developing Payoneer's cross-border payments business with the mission of empowering companies operating within the global digital economy. Nikola Mehandžić has gained many years of experience in the fields of digital payments, e-commerce and digital transaction processing at Mastercard and First Data, and he is well versed in the application of these solutions in fast and dynamic markets. He was responsible for the development of digital payments with a focus on e-commerce and contactless mobile payments. He worked on the development of new business projects, payment platforms, establishing partnerships with traditional and non-traditional partners in the financial industry, mobile operators, digital wallets, processors and IT and startup companies operating within the payment industry. Recent achievements include the launch of Apple Pay mobile payments in Serbia and Montenegro, the introduction of a card on file service at the largest e-merchants in the region, and the development of the digital mobile payment market. Nikola has a Master's degree in International Business and Management from the University of Belgrade and Middlesex University, and also has a degree in project management.
